Small Additional Judging Delay:
Due to the number of scripts for which the writer opted for Judges' Script Notes, judging is taking longer than expected,.  As of May 1, judging is nearly complete, with fewer than 50 scripts yet to be judged.

The 2011 AAA Screenplay Contest is now open, with a greatly improved system for delvering scripts of winners, finalists, and semifinalists to industry execs, plus $12,200 in cash prizes, plus acclaim, plus a new judging system that provides feedback to all entrants.

What The Contest Looks For...

The AAA Contest looks for the best and most talented writers from around the world. If you have written a great screenplay, please allow us to bring your work to the attention of the industry and to help you bring it to the attention of the industry.


The Money...
Grand Prize winner will receive $7,500 
Second Prize is $2,000 Cash.
Third Prize is $1,000.

NEW:  Comedy Prize: Funniest Movie Script, $500

Creature Feature: best zombie, vampire, werewolf, other bloodthirsty creature or horror story with a gore-drenched villain $500

The fourth through tenth-place finalists will each receive $100

 Winners of top cash prizes will receive multiple avenues of access:

    ●  Agency/production company consideration: winning and top-pacing scripts and writer contact information provided to some 300 production, agency, and management companies online, available to them 24x7 is a password-protected database accessible only to these executives and contest management.  These 300+ companies have expressed interest in receiving winning scripts from  us.
    ●  Top winners pitch FREE to production companies, writers' agencies, and managers at the 2011 Screenwriting Expo (see http://screenwritingexpo.com/Golden-Pitch.html for details on pitching at the 2010 Expo;the 2011 pitch festival will be similar).  
    ●  Access to producers, agents, managers, and other writers through additional channels and partnerships which we will announce during the course of the contest.
